Which brings us to the problem lies.
As most of you it is not practical to LiveJournal, here is a little guide. Here I will explain only the basic functions, those that you need for your post here.
Step 1. Register for LiveJournal.
The most obvious step, but it is the first.
Go to 'create an account' (in the home, top right), and you see this:
There is nothing particular to say. Simply complete the fields, but remember that the password must contain at least one letter and one number.
LiveJournal The messenger is essentially an instant messaging service (I have not ever used, so I do not know exactly how it works). I recommend you select the second option if you are recording with your msn address, or simply to press the last option to skip the registration process. Then add two paroel you see in the image (if you can not see them well, pressing the two arrows will appear a new one. Keep it up until you find a readable and write x ° D).
Now you can finally create your account. Now you can
Put the name of your character, gender, birthday, interests ... Remember that everything is optional, it is not required to include everything! At the end
selected plus level, which is the account for free, and continue.
(To the right is a first selection of the layout of your page, but do not need to select something, given that the play will be made on our community.)
Registration is complete! There will be a link alal your home page, and a couple of quick links to delel things you can do.
NB:
quite a while, there should be an e-mail arrived. Click the link that was sent to activate your account!
Step 2. "Join" the community. Now that you have the account of your character Reborn, you can become part of
mafialand . Go to the
Profile, and click here:
Step 3. Write a post.
If you are anywhere else in LiveJournal, always go in the bar, and select 'post' in the top left. If you want to post in this community, select from the menu Mafialand.
Similarly, you can choose your display picture to be used with the drop-down menu. Put a title in 'Subject' if you wish, but it is not necessary.
Now comes the main part: writing the post.
is not particularly difficult, the only important thing to say is the distinction between Rich Text and HTML.
When you write a post at the top left of the window are two entries.
If you switch to HTML, all these buttons disappear, and you receive the code
of what you wrote.
This, of course, also works in reverse: if you write a code to type in the HTML part, then Rich text the word you wanted to highlight is in bold.
Example:
Displaying Rich Text
HTML View:
All this to say that if you write <b> </ b> (Typical code in bold forum) in the rich text will not happen anything at all, but if you put it in the html will have the desired effect.
Step 4. Replying to a post.
You can choose a personal face-to-use drop-down menu, and put a title is absolutely unnecessary.
Commentators enabled only HTML, so if you want to write something in bold or italics, you have to put the code. (They go to the forum as well: <b> Mettiquilaparola </ b> for bold, <i> Mettiquilaparola </ i> for italics and <s> Mettiquilaparola </ s> to strikethrough text. Also writing <small> Mettiquila word </ small> and <big> Mettiquilaparola </ big> the text will be larger or smaller).
Step 5. Post pictures and add links.
To get the pictures there are two methods.
The simplest method is to insert the code
<img src="Link qui"> to your image in the HTML, or directly if you are writing a comment. You can also enter, in the usual places, the html code of the image that the various hosting plans give you when you load an image. In general, however, these codes there is a link to the host, which is a slightly annoying (and in fact, every time I delete that part). The other method is to take the direct link the image and use the yellow box in the rich text to post the image.
to post links, usually I use the 'insert link' (and the iconetta with the world, after the drop-down list of sizes), I insert the link and I'm ok. To change the name, I go in the HTML: sounds complicated, but it's really just a matter of habit.
